This Pinka is actually Senior Broadcaster Ramesh Kapoor and Shanno fame Kulveer Kapoor has taken VRS from Chandigarh station of All India Radio in 2020.

You must be knowing that before coming to All India Radio in 1995, both have been acting and both are husband and wife & both are also writers.

Kulveer Kapoor aka Shanno told that she was fond of acting since childhood and has been acting since she gained consciousness. Firstly at home, then at school-college; learned the tricks of acting from the expert professors of 'National School of Drama' (NSD).

After that they started serials of Jalandhar Doordarshan. Both Pinka and Shanno are Theater Artists. Did a lot of plays, there was a phase of acting in Mumbai too. Both did a lot of serials as character actors:

CID, Woh Rehne Wali Mahlon Ki, Do Hanson Ka Joda, Savdhaan India, Humne like hai Shapath, Yahan Main Ghar-Ghar Kheli, Diya aur Baati, Mahadevi Rakshak, Bade Achde Lagte Hain, Parichay etc.

Also did a Tally film - Dastaan-e-Punjab

Worked in Serials - Bhai Manna Singh, Wapsi, Sangharsh.

Worked as an anchor in the program 'Jhilmil Tare' in Jalandhar Doordarshan for seven years.

'Shanno ji' very candidly said that Mr. Ramesh Kapoor is a better actor, writer, producer-director than me.

Under his direction and production, both got the National Award.
Both got the Best Actor Award on the title 'Udaan'.
